Congratulations to our McGregor Elementary Students of the Month. These young people have done a great job of living up to the Mercury Ways. Students selected are Lena Smith, Liam Sorensen, Vincent Jones, Emma Klund, Isaac Muirhead, Hazel Guida, and Sierra Moe. Way to go students. I'd like to thank Pine Insurance Agency and Nate Jackson for providing the t-shirts for the students.
In honor of paraprofessional recognition week, I would like to extend a special thank you to all of our paraprofessionals! Thank you for supporting all of our students and teachers in our school. You are the heartfelt hero by using your talents to help students discover their own. Dedicating your time and energy each day to the students in your care and doing it all while meeting the individual needs of many! You are appreciated!

Our Cultural instructor, Miss Boyd did a wonderful job of putting these signs up in the elementary hallway displaying Ojibwe phrases and a QR code to use to hear how to properly pronounce the phrases. Great idea.

This is a reminder to our McGregor school families that there will be no school on Monday, January 25th. This is a workday for teachers to prepare for the start of the 2nd semester and to get grades completed for the end of the quarter.
